Softball Australia has stuck an innovative new deal with Click Energy that will see the utility offer power bill credits to its members as well as cash donations to softball clubs and associations.

The ‘Switch to Click’ campaign was launched today and offers members a $50 power credit if they open a new Click Energy account through Softball Australia.  Participating members can also nominate a softball club or association to receive a $50 donation from Click.

The Click Energy funding can be used by the clubs to buy uniforms, equipment, infrastructure or on community initiatives.

The offer is scalable and is also open to friends and families of members.

Softball Australia communications and marketing manager, Jack Lucas, told Sponsorship News that the campaign will be promoted digitally through its database of about 26,000 contacts primarily residing in south-east Queensland and NSW.

He said the offer would also feature on signage at the  Summer Slam event and at the Asia Pacific Cup to be held in Blacktown early next year.
