Wine and spirits company Pernod Ricard has become the champagne partner of the Sydney Opera House and will promote G.H. Mumm and Perrier-Jouët.

The two-year deal sees the two champagne brands supplied at the venue’s bars and restaurants including Portside Sydney and the recently opened Yallamundi Rooms.

Sydney Opera House CEO Louise Herron said that during the tender process Pernod Ricard presented an array of creative ideas that would complement the food and beverage offered at the Opera House.

The new deal continues a strong run of sponsorship activity for the Opera House including the recent renewal of major sponsor EnergyAustralia for a further two years.
