Electronics brand SONIQ will focus on promoting its smart TV technology through a new partnership with the Melbourne Renegades Big Bash League franchise.

Electronics brand SONIQ will focus on promoting its smart TV technology through a new partnership with the Melbourne Renegades Big Bash League franchise.

The company has signed a three-year deal with the Renegades, which will include Renegades captain and Australian short-form cricketer Aaron Finch join SONIQ as a brand ambassador.

As exclusive electronics partner, SONIQ will promote its smart TV platform, Cinavision, with a variety of in-ground and digital activations.

Cinavision, which comes pre-loaded on all SONIQ smart TVs and is downloadable as an Android app, will host a Renegades TV channel, while SONIQ will also receive branding on the players' media polo.

SONIQ will also provide screens and tablets to Renegades coaching staff to monitor performance and provide post-match analysis on.

SONIQ will leverage the deal through fan engagement activations such as an exclusive net session with the Renegades squad.

The deal is the electronics brand's second major partnership in Australian sport following a partnership with NRL side, the Manly Sea Eagles.
