BHP attracted to Glory’s inclusion and diversity

The Perth Glory A-League club has signed BHP as its new principal partner and sayd the global mining giant was attracted by the Glory’s W-League team success, its indigenous programs and its schools program that promotes STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) subjects.  

The company’s logo will feature on the front of Perth Glory’s Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League shirts and all training apparel.

Glory chief commercial officer, Nic Barbato told Sponsorship News that the principal partnership would be reviewed annually but the company had made a three-year commitment to the club.

Barbato added that BHP was also interested in the exposure generated when the club competes in the AFC Champions league.

BHP WA Iron Ore Asset President, Edgar Basto said the partnership was underpinned by a “mutual commitment to achieve outstanding results and greater inclusion and diversity”.
