Newly-crowned V8 Supercars champion Mark Winterbottom will swap his Pepsi Max backing for Bottle-O colours next season, the latest in a myriad of sponsorship changes in the championship for 2016.

Newly-crowned V8 Supercars champion Mark Winterbottom will swap his Pepsi Max backing for Bottle-O colours next season, the latest in a myriad of sponsorship changes in the championship for 2016.

Winterbottom's current title sponsor, Pepsi Max, will pull back from naming rights while Bottle-O − the consumer retail brand of Australian Liquor Marketing − will take over just a day after Winterbottom won his maiden Supercars title.

Winterbottom has driven under the 'Pepsi Max Crew' banner since 2013 when he won the Bathurst 1000. Additionally, Winterbottom sponsors including Monroe, ActronAir and Bolle will transition as part of the move.

Pepsi Max will also depart as the primary sponsor of Prodrive's second car, the #6 Ford driven by Chaz Mostert.

A replacement sponsor for Mostert's car has already been secured, with Supercheap Auto taking title rights and ending its current support for Walkinshaw Racing's #47 car, driven by Tim Slade.

Bottle-O swings its support from Prodrive's third car, the #55 piloted by David Reynolds - who will also shift teams next year, into the garage of rival V8 team Erebus.

The myriad changes follow news that Tekno Autosports will lose its major sponsor, chocolate brand Darrell Lea, with driver Shane Van Gisbergen leaving the team for a seat at Triple Eight racing.

Triple 888 has already announced the formation of a new racing identity for next season, with Craig Lowndes and Caltex combining to form 'TeamVortex'. Red Bull, Lowndes' title sponsor since 2013, will remain as principal backer of Van Gisbergen's vehicle.

Brown-Forman whisky brand Jack Daniel's has already called time on its own Supercars title sponsorship, departing its Nissan Motorsport alliance after a decade-long presence in the sport.
